Two swords crossed upon the “Taglia Rosa”, a metal sculpture by Italian artist Alfredo De Luca from Monteflcone, Italy.
Bayonets’ littered the Italian countrysides after the wars end, scattered amongst shrapnel, unexploded ordinance, grenades and bombs. In the hills adjacent to Montefalcone Alfredo spent his early morning walks seeking theses war relics, to create peaceful art from material used for death and destruction.
