Mitico cercatore e collezionista di pezzi di storia insanguinata del Carso, trasformati in nuovi assemblages di ricordi ed emozioni / impressioni del suo vissuto personale.
E’ la storia dimenticata e vilipesa, quella che ormai non importa quasi più a nessuno, ad essere da lui liberata e redenta, fatta portatrice di nuovi messaggi di speranza e di affetto purificato, attraverso il lavoro umile e da working class della lavorazione del ferro e della saldatura.

E’ la Monfalcone dei padri dei padri a parlare umilmente e a ricordarci che esiste un passato, fatto di guerra e di resistenza, di tirannia e di lotta per la libertà e per tutto quello che noi abbiamo oggi; di preghiera, di lavoro duro e di fatica quotidiana nelle officine dei cantieri.

E’ un percorso che dalla morte e dalla distruzioni arriva all’arte attraverso il lavoro, e che vuole redimere il mondo anche di noi privilegiati che non siamo mai stati ne’ in trincea ne’ in officina.
Il laboratorio di Alfredo è un tempio, dove un’infinità di frammenti arruginiti, un tempo portatori di tragedia e di morte, riposano ora ben ordinati e catalogati ed attendono pazienti di essere scelti e riassemblati in strumenti di evocazione del ricordo ed in strumenti di preghiera attraverso il gesto purificatore dell’arte.

An artistic, legendary searcher and collector of war fragments from the bloody history of the Karst, Alfredo DeLuca creatively transformed them into new assemblages of memories and emotions, deep impressions of his past. This unique artform is about the forgotten and vilified history of war, something many people no longer care about.

Through his creations these reminders of death and destruction are freed and redeemed with a new aura of positive energy. These metallic sculptures send a new message of hope and purified love through his humble working of the iron, passionately welding each piece with love.

It’s Monfalcone, to which his ancestors that spoke humbly to him to show and display reminiscence of past wars. The resistance of tyranny, fighting for freedom and for everything that we have today for a peaceful balance in life without war and violence. Thoughts of prayer, hard work, conviction, effort and faith to enrich mankind poured from his heart.. A path from death and destruction to create works of art, his goal in beautifying the world turning negative into positive. Alfredo’s workshop is like a temple where rusty fragments that were once messengers of tragedy and death, now reassembled into objects that serve as a peaceful reminder through his artistic expression.
